Distillation operator, temporary position of approximately two months

Under the supervision of the Pilot Plant Manager, the Distillation Operator contributes to the improvement of technologies by operating the distillation process equipment and by performing the required analyses for process control.

Responsabilties and tasks :

> Adjust and operate equipment according to approved procedures;
> Supply the machine with raw materials;
> Collect samples, perform process control analysis;
> Fill out operation follow-up forms.

What we offer :
> 12 hours in 2-3-3-2 rotation, day and night;
> Salary of $25.00/hr;
> Night premium of $2.00/hr.

Hard skills :
> High school diploma, DEP in production equipment operation an asset;
> Experience in industry is an asset;
> Basic knowledge of MS Office;
> Good knowledge of French, both oral and written;
> Functional oral English;

*Any other combination of degrees and experience may be considered.

Soft-skills :
> Demonstrated understanding of projects’ rationale and objectives while
constantly showing utmost care and attention to details at all stages;
> Keen sense of observation with an eye for details;
> Demonstrated strong interest in manual work;
> Skilled problem solver;
> High demonstrated consideration for teamwork;
> Demonstrated drive and a positive attitude;
> Ability to perform several tasks concurrently;
> Demonstrated care and thoroughness;
> Ability to demonstrate great adaptability amid changing tasks and priorities.
