Responsabilities and tasks :
Pyrowave is recruiting a Financial Analyst specialized in cost management (R&D, engineering, operations and projects) to join our administrative team and support our growth strategy.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance, the incumbent will primarily be supporting the organization’s managers with accounting and financial expertise in connection with the corporate costs and activities.
• More specifically, the incumbent’s role will be to analyze and control the costs related to the organization’s direct and indirect expenses. The incumbent will:
• Manage the organization’s cost structures with respect to operations and current and future projects;
• Prepare reports and conduct analysis to help with cost management, control and optimization;
• Actively participate in the ERP system roll-out;
• Contribute to continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and systems for further efficiency and ensure the comprehensiveness and reliability of generated and released information;
• Analyze results, interpret budget variances and provide recommendations;
• Actively participate in the annual budget process;
• Track capital expenditures, projects and fixed assets;
• Participate in the inventory process and in the valuation of inventories;
• Complete the financial portion of research and development tax credit and grant applications, and prepare related reports.
Hard skills :
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance
• CPA designation (an asset)
• Three years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset)
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and Office suite
• Bilingual (French and English)
