Closed Loop Consortium for Polystyrene Recycling

Three leaders join forces to create a consortium to complete the polystyrene recycling loop. Pyrowave partners with ReVital Polymers Inc. and Styrolution-INEOS to give PS a second life; ReVital Polymers sorts and cleans PS packages and sends them to Pyrowave, who depolymerizes these materials to make them a 95% monomer-rich liquid, identical to the virgin fossil material used in PS manufacturing. Styrolution-INEOS then uses this oil to remanufacture new packaging and PS products.
